CLTS Sensitisation and Capacity Development in Anglophone West Africa Regional Workshop Report

UNICEF in collaboration with WaterAid held a regional CLTS sensitization and capacity development workshop for West African Anglophone countries in Otukpo, Benue State Nigeria from 1st to 7th of March 2009.

The workshop attracted more than 60 participants from Ghana, Gambia, Sierra Leone, Liberia and Nigeria. The workshop was the second in a series of workshops to build capacity of sector professionals on Community Led Total Sanitation in the West and Central Africa region. It was facilitated by Dr. Kamal Kar with help from Professor Robert Chambers and also included hands-on triggering in communities.
