CLTS roars as eight villages become ODF in Homabay

Printer-friendly versionPrinter-friendly version

Celebrations took place in Homabay on 11th May 2010 when a total of 8 villages were declared ODF.

After initially slow progress, things have taken a turn for the better. Inspired by the ODF declaration and campaigns of a neighbouring community (Manera), CLTS is increasingly becoming a powerful movement in Homabay. New ODF villages are Kabok, Kamuga, Kimigwala, Komollo and Kochieng in the Ndori Village Development Committee (VDC) area and Karabala, Kidero and Kambogo which form Got Kabok VDC.
