
The Sanitation Learning Hub (previously the CLTS Knowledge Hub) at the Institute of Development Studies (IDS) aims to support the sanitation and hygiene (S&H) sector in tackling the complex challenges it faces in delivering universal safely managed sanitation by 2030 ensuring the human right to S&H for all. We are currently seeking to recruit two Research Officers to undertake desk and field based research, data collection and analysis, contribute to publications and other communication methods, and work effectively with project and cluster colleagues.
Applicants will have good knowledge and understanding of current issues and debates in the WASH/S&H sector and have a post graduate degree related to this subject area. The successful applicant will have experience of undertaking research in a developing country and working in a participatory action research based environment. A familiarity with participatory ways of working and facilitating workshops would be an advantage. The position is likely to require extensive travel.
