The CLTS Knowledge Hub based at the Institute of Development Studies, SNV, UNICEF, WaterAid and WSSCC are co-convening a rural sanitation Sharing and Learning Workshop prior to the official opening AfricaSan5/FSM5 in Cape Town, South Africa. The free day-long event will be an opportunity for participants to pause, take stock, reflect on their own and other people’s experiences, share knowledge and learning, and exchange ideas and innovations from across Africa. It thereby contributes not only to keeping the WASH community well connected and informed but also hopes to influence sector practice and policy more generally in a positive way. The agenda – including specific topics for discussion - will be sent to registered participants in advance however the precise agenda will emerge in a participatory fashion and be dependent on participants’ knowledge and particular areas of interest.
The workshop is free of charge and will include coffee breaks and lunch. Further details will be sent to registered participants nearer the time
