Esta bibliografía comentada presenta una selección de sitios en internet sobre género y desarrollo de organizaciones e iniciativas en países hispanohablantes. Da una idea de la riqueza de los debates feministas y las iniciativas sensibles al género que están teniendo lugar sobre todo en América Latina, pero también en España. Su propósito es dar a conocer una amplia gama de perspectivas y el trabajo de diversas actoras, incluyendo organizaciones no gubernamentales locales, redes feministas regionales, programas de comunicación feminista y programas de investigación. Las iniciativas son muy diferentes y incluyen programas de radio y televisión, capacitación de género y liderazgo feminista, fortalecimiento institucional, y incidencia política. Los temas de los portales incluyen: derechos sexuales y reproductivos, perspectivas católicas feministas, derechos de las mujeres indígenas, tecnologías de información y comunicación, violencia de género, y democracia participativa.

This annotated bibliography presents a selection of websites on gender and development from organisations and initiatives based in Spanish-speaking countries. It gives a flavour of the richness of feminist debates and gender sensitive work being carried out mainly in Latin America but also in Spain. It aims to give visibility to a wide range of perspectives and to communicate the innovative work of diverse actors, including local non-governmental organisations (NGOs), regional feminist networks, feminist communications initiatives and research programmes. The initiatives range from promoting gender equality through radio and television programmes, grass-roots and leadership training, communications processes and alliance building, advocacy for the inclusion of a gender perspective in policies and laws, and strengthening women's organisations. Some of the themes on which the portals focus include sexual and reproductive rights and health, Christian feminist perspectives, indigenous women's rights, information and communications technologies, gender based violence, and inclusive and participatory democracy.
