This manual provides the resources and tools for organizations and practitioners in post-conflict settings based on work conducted in the Democratic Republic of Congo and Burundi to sustainably engage men in gender-based violence prevention through Living Peace groups. The methodology is based on good practices with male social group-therapy programs and gender-transformative group educational programs developed by Promundo. The manual also addresses how to implement the mentioned programs, and summarises the results of the 2013 evaluation which affirmed strong positive changes in men’s attitudes and behaviour.
