If you are a information and knoweldge intermediary working in international development and are running a portal, gateway or reporting service, you can join the Network.

There is no cost to join the Network. We organise annual workshops for members to share and learn from each others experiences, and members can also engage in joint projects, participate in an email discussion list, help raise funds and play their part in shaping the sector. See the activities page to find out more about current projects, and the members section to find out who else is a part of the Network and how you can benefit.
How do I join?
Just have a look at the membership policy below. If you think you fit the membership criteria and would like to join the Network, please complete the membership request form and send it to Yaso Kunaratnam at y.kunaratnam@ids.ac.uk
If you do not meet the criteria but are interested in the role in intermediaries in development, you can join the Knoweldge Brokers Forum www.knowledgebrokersforum.org, a growing community of interest in the sector.

Membership criteria
The Network is a community of practice. To join you need to:
- Be actively involved in intermediary work
- Be committed to learning and sharing experience with peers, innovating and collaborating together
- Work exclusively or primarily with social science research based information
- Work to enable access to and use of material from a multiplicity and diversity of sources, not just those from your own organisation
- Use a range of communications and knowledge management approaches that harness internet based technologies
