Rosalba Icaza is specialised in the international political economy of transborder civic resistance to open/neo-liberal regionalism in Latin America. She writes and teaches about paths of civic engagement on regionalisms across the world and their contributions to global epistemic justice. Rosalba is interested in the application of action-research methodologies in her teaching and research and is committed to facilitate spaces for mutual learning between practitioners and academics. She is also interested on third world and de-colonial feminist thinking, post-development theories and IPE critical perspectives on social resistance to global and regional governance.
