Carlos Cortez Ruiz, Doctor in Anthropology, is a lecturer on the Postgraduate on Rural Development at the Autonomous Metropolitan University in Mexico, where for some years has been coordinator of the Development Research Interdisciplinary Programme on Human Development. His research and teaching focuses on the epistemological, methodological and pedagogical issues related to the construction of social strategies for change.
